| "On Fire For God"

“There
are many things I would rather not remember about my life,
but the truth is, God has used them to bring me to where I
am today and doing what He has called me to do,” says Mary
Wagner.
“On Fire for God” recounts Mary’s encounters with
the destructive power of fire that began when her family
home was burned to the ground when she was only four years
old. At eight years of age, Mary was involved in an accident
that left her with third degree burns from the waist up.
Her injuries were so devastating that she was not expected
to live much less recover and live an amazing life dedicated
to serving the God who answered her father’s desperate
prayers not to take his baby girl away from him.
“God’s
love and grace used the tragedy of my burns to touch other
people’s lives,” Mary says, “and set me on fire for Him!” |

Barbara Downing and Mary Wagner, who are sisters in real life.

songs, and Dan Tomlinson, who plays for Lyle Lovett, performs
all drums and percussion. |

and Barbara were joined by Mary’s daughter, Cassie, to create

studio, this mother and daughter team felt that working together
again was very reminiscent of a much earlier time when they sang

wrote from one of her singing trips. Mary also

we are only walking thru this time on earth. This album
is upbeat and will make you want to sing along and
